Included is our lightweight and flexible carbon fiber frame, made here in the USA. The curved design allows airflow around your back and puts support in the right places. One size fits all.25 in tall. Rated for hauling more pounds you could ever carry.
This super strong and durable fabric is deceptively light weight. And yes, it’s even machine washable! Special DWR coating causes moisture to bead up and roll off like water on a leaf, instead of soak through the material, making the pack highly water resistant.
5400 cubic inches is ideal in a hunting pack, providing gear space both for day hikes or multi-night backpacking trips.
This pack features hydration bladder access inside the main pocket and inside the rear compartment. Haul double the water.
The Climax 5400 separates from the frame allowing you to put gear or game securely between the pack and the frame. Multiple straps allow you to secure your load.
Our cushioned adjustable shoulder straps make carrying any load easier and more comfortable than ever! You can adjust in all 4 directions to fit you perfectly.
Most backpacks have ordinary zippers that allow water to drip through. Not us. We designed the Climax 5400 with top-notch zippers. You're welcome.
Access the main storage from the front or on the top. Each pack includes 2 dry bags and 2 accessory pockets.
Pull the quick release lever to remove your gun, bow, or gear in a matter of seconds. A new design hunters and tactical users are loving!

Overall I like the pack, carried our about 85 pounds and wasn’t any issues with the pack or feeling the weight. It is very flexible in design and after a day was fully use to the locking system on the straps.
My only compliant is in my opinion the belt used to pull tight the hip belt/pad need to be a little wider and a heavier material. I feel the straps are to flexible, and the loop ring to hold the strap in didn’t work (needs to be tighter). A few times the hip belt strap folded over on itself which I then had to take off the bag and unfold the belt as I could not tighten down the hip belt.
Thanks for the review! Regarding the hipbelt it might be possible you didn’t have it adjusted properly? This is the first time we have heard of this happening. Send us pictures in the future and we’ll take care of you!
I look forward to using the pack in my October elk hunt in Utah back country. Thank you
I took this bag on high hunt for Mule deer and couldn’t have asked for a better bag. I had plenty of room for all my gear, and loved how I could take apart the bag and use it for a day pack. I was able to pack out a Mule deer with all my gear. Not one thing I didn’t like about it.
Best bag for the money. I ordered 3 brands to test out. For the money this bag is so versatile you can’t beat it. Love the compact mode. perfect for my local day hunts. 5400 pack for my week plus hunts. It’s very adjustable and all the configurations you can build with one pack is super nice.
This pack is unbelievable. The new pack came with laser cut molle on the hip belt and a different way to attach the hip belt pouches then what they show on the website. There wasn’t a stitch out of place and the zippers are top notch. The proprietary clasp system takes a little getting used to but once you play around with them it becomes second nature. My pack did come with a broken plastic buckle. I reached out to the company and they immediately sent a new one out to me. I will be trying out this pack on a DIY Montana elk hunt for 9 days. I expect this to work very well since the pack is quite modular. I like the fact that you can use it to carry in a full camp set up and then strip it down for a day pack. You should give this pack a try especially for all the accessories that you get for the price. Most other companies charge extra for the meat shelf, rain cover and pouches. The quick detach rifle/bow holder is also another plus. I can’t say enough about this backpack. I would like to do a follow up review when I return from my hunt so that I can speak about load characteristics and problems (if any) that may occur. As for now, I would definitely recommend this back pack.
