Pack is well thought out. I like the fact i can cinch it down for daily use and enlarge for packing out. Im hoping theres enough padding on shoulder straps for heavy loads.

In searching for a hunting pack that could meet all my needs from Backpacking, Spike camp, Full Backpacking Hunt, Game Hauler with sling that can run as standalone and finally a day pack with frame solution when hunting out of spike or drop camp.
There are some good contenders out there for sure. After weeks of back and forth and reading/watching reviews, I decided on the Akek Climax. Have only test loaded to date.
First use will be a 3 day backpacking scouting trip this summer.
I am impressed with the quality and it definitely comes fully loaded. I probably won\’t use all of the extras it comes with.

I cannot think of one negative thing about this pack. It surpassed all my expectations with flying colours! It is super well built and the design well thought out, right from the carbon fibre frame, the compartments, the little pockets (which can be moved to multiple locations), the 3 water bladder locations, and let’s not forget the “built in” waterproof pack cover. The adjustability of the waist bet is simple yet genius. You can remove or add foam to the lumbar pad as well, which I found super helpful. Shoulder straps are easy to adjust. Being able to take the main pack off the frame and attach the lid as a little daypack was one of the features that made me pull the trigger. That is not the exhaustive list of all the things I love about this pack, but the hiking trail is calling my name. Akek pretty much thought of everything!!

Pack is great, everything seems to be well made. I like the layout and design of the pack. I packed out a Coues Deer this weekend and handled the load perfectly. The only disadvantage was there are a lot of clips and straps. Still trying to learn them all. Once I do I feel like it will be my favorite pack that I have owned.
