I generally do not leave reviews, but for this Pack I had to. I haven’t had a chance to get it out in the field yet, but I did load it up with some weights and head out for a walk around the neighborhood. The waist belt carries the weight well and the pack is very comfortable in general. It looks to be made very well. I like the waterproof zippers and all the straps for securing your load. I am looking forward to getting out in the mountains for an elk hunt with it.

My son and I have been looking for a medium size pack with useful features at a reasonable price. We believe we have found it, the flexibility in meat hauling, optional day pack and our favorite the easy removal of a rifle or bow without taking the pack off is awesome.

To be totally honest, with all the ads on social media I got from AKEK I really thought it would be a scam but I took the bait anyway. And I am SO happy I did! The shipping was quick, I called the number on the website and customer service was stellar! I live in Louisiana and plan on using the 3200 for deep woods treks in search of fall deer. I haven’t been able to break it in yet, but I and very excited. Looking through some other comments, I feel like a lot of their negative concerns are simply just opinions. It fits great, the ability to customize layers etc seem to be super smart and part of the reason i bought this one. The quick disconnect is in a smart place and doesn’t need to be specially colored. The zippers are all quiet and fabric is very rugged. Tons of room for activities inside. I can’t wait to go test it out!

I haven’t had the opportunity to actually test it yet, but I think it’ll be a solid pack. I have 3 frozen hind quarters that I tested fitment with, and I was able to fit all 3 without issue (2 in the main meat shelf & 1 in the outer). I would like to see a 3rd strap that goes across and cinches down the main meat shelf. And the load lifters slipped a little bit with the weight just walking around the house, so that might be my only concern. I own a couple different Tenzing meat hauling packs and I like the way the AKEK sits on my torso better than either of the Tenzings.
I wanted a smaller capacity (in terms of cubic inches) pack that would be able to carry out a full quartered/deboned deer, and I think that’s what I got. It’ll be put to the test this fall.
